A joyful milestone

A wedding is a milestone in your life and should be a joyful time. We understand marriage as a lifelong, creative relationship — one that provides mutual support for husband and wife through all of life's circumstances, and, for many couples, a foundation for raising a family.

Just as Jesus shared in the wedding celebrations at Cana, we should love to have you marry at one of our churches. You'll normally need to either live in the parish, be on the church's electoral roll, or have a family connection to the church — do get in touch with the Rector to talk through your options, and feel free to browse our church photographs for inspiration.

A new beginning

Parents who bring their children to baptism are bringing them into membership of the Christian faith — a public commitment to belief and to a Christian upbringing. Baptism isn't only for infants: young people and adults frequently choose it too, on recognising God's love and responding personally to faith.

Baptism is an outward sign of a new beginning, and young people and adults are not infrequently baptised immediately before being confirmed, at one special and moving service. Both are freely available — if you're thinking about baptism or confirmation, please contact the Rector.

Gathering in grief and gratitude

Anyone living in the Wragby Group of Parishes is entitled to a funeral service in the parish where they have resided, whether or not they attended church. A funeral is an important part of grieving, allowing family, friends and colleagues to gather and share in their loss together.

To arrange a funeral service, please contact the Rector directly.

We'll come to you

The Rector is happy to visit any parishioner in the Group of Churches for prayer, spiritual guidance and administration of the sacraments, by prior arrangement — at home, in a care facility, or in hospital.
